Klára Dudáková

Hi there!

I’m Klára and my story with photography started when I was 14 years old and my dad once borrowed me his old camera during one family vacation. Then came the period of experimenting, searching for inspiration and developing my own style. But what I always enjoyed the most was photographing people.

It was maybe thanks to the portraits and series of skin studies (Otisk), that I got an internship in a fashion brand ODIVI. I have loved fashion ever since I can remember so since then I naturally started to shoot fashion editorials for several brands.

As fashion photography is not only about the photo itself, I became interested in other disciplines to present my fashion photos as a “compact” product and to be able to handle more activities in the process on my own. Thats why I often participate in styling and started to do make-up for various photoshoots too.

Apart from that, my experience in working for advertising agencies and small businesses have brought me to develop a strong relationship in branding, social media strategy and content marketing from which it was just a little step towards product photography. Whether it is jewelry, homeware or food, I enjoy adding the artistic approach to product photography and love helping other brands telling their story.

Though photography is undoubtedly one of my biggest passions I have always had the urge to create something with my hands, whether it was some arts & crafts thing or even make-up. That’s why I recently founded KAARET, a slow design brand giving dead stock, vintage and second hand materials a new life.
